I got myself a new family member

Hello and welcome to Mr. Stoat.
I picked him up from a lovely chap on Portobello road this weekend. Carrying him home was nice because I got to tuck his little head out of the plastic bag to let him see we were going.
He also got me lots of personal space on the tube.

The quality of his stitching leaves something to be desired and its rather sad how he is attached to such a degrading piece of 'wood'; but he is still something special. Not as majestic  as other pieces, he exudes a particular sort of charm that just makes you want to sew him a little hat.

It's funny how he has seen bits of the world I will never see and eaten things that I will never eat; and I will never know what they are because he is just a stoat, and someone has scooped out his insides and replaced them with fauna pollyfiler.

I have discovered that he has a brother, I must try and reunite the two:

Washing

The other day I decided to have a bath.
I don't know if its because the other people in my house don't like to spend time thinking or wallowing in their own filth, or because global warming water conservation propaganda has got their into heads, but they tend just to take showers.
The bath was quite dirty. I covered it in an assortment of corrosive cleaning products, made a cup of tea and came back to see some of the little flies breaking apart and leaving a minute pool of brown death-juice around themselves.

When I took my bath it smelt just like a swimming pool does when you are really young and scared of your eyes stinging in the water; quite intense and a little bit sinister.
I wondered if my skin would go red and begin to peel off, in punishment for my disrespectful treatment of insect corpses.

It didn't, but maybe it should have done.

A little while ago

I started an online food diary.

I had big plans for it; the page was to blossom into something big & clever.

However, for reasons I cannot entirely explain, I was allowed to access it no more. Perhaps the powers that be were performing a social service, I cannot tell.

I am determined the past contents of my belly shall live on, more is to follow.

Pretty, Pretty

These are too darn beautiful; I have been trying to make one for ages now, but importing the materials is proving a little difficult.
